The Air New Zealand Wine Awards is the premier wine competition in New Zealand recognising excellence in winemaking. In 2017, approximately 1,300+ wines will be judged by a team of local and international judges to identify medal and trophy winners for each of the varietal categories. The trophy winning wines will be revealed at a black tie awards dinner in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand on Saturday 25 November 2017 – check back here to see the wines you can get delivered to your door, worldwide.

Air New Zealand is a patron of the Fine Wines of New Zealand programme. Each year, a selection of New Zealand's top wines is compiled by six of New Zealand's top independent wine experts including Masters of Wine Alastair Maling, Michael Brajkovich, Sam Harrop, Simon Nash and Steve Smith along with Master Sommelier Cameron Douglas. One of the key criteria is consistency, with a wine having had to have been produced to an exceptional standard for a minimum of five consecutive years.
